Where we’ve come from…
Walker Brothers started in the 1960’s as a general light fabrication business, the Company grew under the founding owners into a press shop operation that manufactured finished slat wall accessories, metal candle-holders, welding lugs and sub-contract parts for local manufacturing companies.
Acquired by new owners in 2001 there has been additional investment in CNC sheet metal working machinery, design facilities and people.
Where we’re going…
At a time when UK manufacturing had been under pressure from imports the decision was taken to enhance the added value of manufacturing undertaken within the business by:-
Developing own brand finished products
Providing a design service to customers
Undertaking specialist manufacturing tasks
Project managing jobs that integrate materials other than metal
Investing in people
